Research on Modal Test for a Double-layered Stiffened Plate in Water

Madal performance is the basic characteristics of structures, which will help to further understand vibration structures. Besides, fluid (e.g. water) coupled with structure strongly affact modal structure. To get clear performance, Modal tests are conducted for two-layered plate both in air and water, frequency mode shape given. With comparative analysis frequencies these two cases, it’s shown that influence on structural obvious, results significantly reduction frequency, maximum second mode, it more than 42%. But also noted little.
